Quick OSM find the keyword: Office



    Regarding this feature in GIS, it is a very convenient search function where users can easily find locations located on the map through keywords. However, after trying it out, it was found that this feature is very limited and cannot fully disclose information. This means that a powerful API file is needed to fully utilize this feature. After searching for keywords such as local schools and office buildings, it was found that the displayed information is not complete, indicating that more real-time information is needed when using this feature.

    Based on publicly available data provided by the Hong Kong government, I selected three types of public facilities: police stations, fire stations, and hospitals, combined with the population of Hong Kong, to generate this map. As the population increases, the number of police stations, fire stations, and hospitals will increase relatively, mostly concentrated in the central and southern regions. Using GIS can provide a detailed view of the distribution of such facilities in various regions, as well as the organization of activities by any institution in the future, allowing for faster emergency rescue plans. From the perspective of industrial planning, using this map can also quickly identify areas with smaller populations or areas with lower distribution of such facilities, making it more convenient as new development areas.

  (f) Suggest some parts of Taiwan that are less hazardous to stay/live during those bad air quality days.     The figure show that in living in The northern part of Taiwan would be a good choice. Overall, the northeast of Taiwan is less affected by air pollution, making it suitable for living and tourism.
